Reggie’s Spaghetti House to Close its Doors on March 31, 2009 after nearly 28 years.

I am the daughter of Reggie Brooks, who passed away in March 2008. After 28 years, my family will be closing the restaurant. The family issued a press release to thank all of our very loyalty customers and residents of Aurora for their patronage.

Just thought it may be something you wanted to add to this site.

Our family has always enjoyed going to Reggies. We have had several large get-togethers there.

Sorry you are closing i personally loved your lasagne.

Is the restaurant for sale? Could it reopen with a new owner?

I guess the reason it is closing is because most of the residents I’ve spoken with recently didn’t even realize it was still open. That’s too bad.

Thanks to all you have responded to my story about Reggies’ closing. My mother Wendy, sister Kathy, brother Bill and all of our families and our loyal employees of Reggies are very honored to have served the Aurora community for so many years. It was my father’s dream to own a restaurant and our futures will be filled with many happy memories at Reggie’s Spaghetti House.

The restaurant property and liquor license is for sale if anyone is interested or knows of anyone who would be interested in purchasing it.

My father was born and raised in the house that is now Reggie’s. The restaurant has always been a very special place for the Truce family to have meals and remember Truce family gatherings from our childhood. We were very sorry to hear of the closing and are planning on meeting there for dinner one last time! We will truly miss you all!
